An Alliance to Promote Education

GLP is a multi-stakeholder alliance and innovation network whose members and partner organizations have joined together to promote education reform and improvement.  The diverse members of the GLP alliance include individual teachers and partner organizations such as USAID, AED, Sun, Google, Apple, the Hewlett Foundation, CED, UNESCO, and representatives of government, NGOs, academics, and teacher associations.   Members and partner organizations join and support GLP join based on geographic and programmatic interest, technical expertise, and affiliation.

Individual members and partner organizations support GLP by providing content, expertise, and financial and other resources that drives the success of GLP’s work.  Members and partners benefit from GLP by accessing a community of educators and materials and resources via collaboration technology tools.
As the number of members and partners grows, the potential for collaboration and the number of shared resources grows as well.  Via GLP, members and partner organizations share expertise, lessons learned, and resources and leverage technology and other investments and expand access to resources.  This collaboration is key to the success and future of the program.
