Through the portal, they share educational materials, join conversations, find information about educational initiatives, and collaborate with each other to meet the challenges in their daily life and Afghanistan's education system. The Palestine Youth Portal (PYP) is an online gateway for Palestinian youth to connect with each other and the world. It allows young people men and women in the West Bank, ages 15 to 30, to access digital libraries, online communities, English-as-a-Second-Language training materials, and a wealth of other digital resources. GLP at Work: Central Asia Participation, Education, and Knowledge-Strengthening Project (PEAKS)

What happens to valuable digital documents and materials at the end of a project? This question faced the AED implemented PEAKS project.

The PEAKS project worked in Kyrgystan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan to strengthen teacher training process and educational reform efforts through the introduction of innovative classroom methods and management. GLP at Work: Rwanda Education Commons (REC)

Rwanda, like many other countries in Africa, faces a growing youth population and lacks an educational infrastructure to give them the skills needed for the 21st century. Fortunately, Rwanda has been the beneficiary of many international funding efforts focusing on the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) for education.
