An online training program for district-level education personnel in developing countries, Basic Education for Professional Development, is available on Courses @ GLP. George Washington University developed the course to build the technical and management capacity of district-level educators globally.

The Open Training Platform offers freely and openly accessible training materials for trainers and self-learners to use and re-use for non-commercial purposes such as teaching, learning and research. The Communication and Information Sector of UNESCO developed this open training platform to build capacities of local people and specialized communities through ICT-enhanced training.

The OpenCourseWare Consortium is a free and open digital publication of high quality educational materials, organized as courses. It is a collaboration of more than 100 higher education institutions and associated organizations worldwide creating a broad and deep body of open educational content.
