How do I find web links?
The web links library is organized by folders. (A folder may contain sub-folders.) To browse the links, click on a folder and then on a link that interests you.

How do I add a web link?
You must be signed in to GLP to add a web link.

1. Locate the section that contains web links. Click on folder that you want to add the web link.



2. Click on “Add Entry”.



3. A form will be displayed. Fill in as many fields as possible.<.br>

 

• The "Name" is the title of your web link. NOTE:
1) The name cannot include symbols other than commas,quotation marks, or hyphens(, “ -). Any other symbols included in the name will result in an error message when you try to save.
2) The name is limited to 85 characters in length.
• Write the address of your web link in the “URL” section. (example:: http://www.helppage.com).
• Type a short description of your web link in the “Description” box.
• In the “Tags” section, you can type a word or words that relate to your topic (i.e. “lesson plan”, “biology”). This will help users search for your web link.

Click "Save" when you have filled in the form.

How do I edit information about my web link?
You must be signed in to GLP to edit the description and tags for your web link. Only the person who added the web link may edit this information.

1. Click on the folder that contains the web link that you added.

2. Click on the web link that you added. Click on “Actions” next to the link and click on Edit.



3. Now you may edit information on the screen below. When you have completed your changes, click “Save”.

How do I delete my web link?
You must be signed in to GLP to edit information about the web link that you added. Only the person who added the web link may delete this information.

1. Click on the folder that contains the web link that you added.

2. Click on the web link that you added. Click on “Actions” next to the link and then click on Delete.



3. You will be asked whether you are sure that you want to delete the web link. If you do not want to delete, click Cancel. If you do want to delete, click “OK”.



4. A message stating “Your request processed successfully” confirms that your web link was deleted.
